Hello and thank you very much for your purchase and your review. The reason for the year expiration is because many people purchase services instead of dollar amount so because of the cost to do business our prices increase a few dollars each year so if we didnt have expiration dates people would be trying to use gift certficates years later and prices may be drastically different by then. I really appriciate your response and we always try to make things good with anyone who uses there certificate within a reasonable time frame of expiration date so no worries.
